ASHFORD is a black penny loafer made from calf leather. Its penny strap, apron stitching and low heel retain the familiar shape of a traditional loafer.

The leather lining and insole give the foot a smooth interior, while the rubber outsole adds everyday grip. Designed in Northampton, England, the shoe is made largely by hand and works with tailoring, chinos or smart trousers.

Design and comfort

ASHFORD’s penny strap and defined apron stitching give its black calf leather upper a traditional shape, while the low heel keeps the profile understated. A leather lining and insole sit inside the slip-on construction, with a rubber outsole beneath. As there are no laces to adjust, check that the heel and instep feel secure without pressing the toes.
